Refund & Withdrawal Policy

This policy is drafted in line with Turkey's Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation (as amended 24 May 2025, in force from 1 January 2026), and informed by the EU Consumer Rights Directive for global buyers. Rules differ by transaction type.

1. Digital models (STL/3MF files)

Legal requirementDigital content is delivered immediately once download access is granted — under Turkish law this falls within Distance Contracts Regulation art. 15/1-ğ's exception for "contracts for intangible goods delivered immediately to the consumer." Per the withdrawal-right waiver you explicitly confirm before purchase (see the Digital Content Policy), your right of withdrawal ends once that access is granted. Even so, if a purchase was made in error or the file clearly doesn't match its listing, contact support@buya3dprint.com within 7 days of purchase; we review these case by case.

Product decisionRefund requests are currently reviewed and approved manually by support — there is no automated self-service "request a refund" button today.

2. Commercial / enterprise license upgrades

Commercial or enterprise license upgrades purchased on top of a model's base download right are also treated as digital content, subject to the rules above.

3. Physical catalog products

Under the Distance Contracts Regulation, you have a 14-day no-reason right of withdrawal from the date you receive a physical product (custom- made/personalized items may be excluded — see exceptions below). Separately, if an item arrives damaged, defective, or clearly different from what you ordered, contact us within 14 days of delivery for a reprint or refund.

Product decisionThe refund process is not self-service today — reaching our support team at support@buya3dprint.com starts a manual review that an admin then processes.

4. Exceptions

Legal requirementUnder Distance Contracts Regulation art. 15/1-b, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's own specifications or clearly personalized. On Buya3DPrint, this exception covers only Print Partner custom manufacturing requests — those orders are produced specifically to that request's own design/size/material choices supplied by the customer (see Section 5). The standard catalog physical products described in Section 3 are not within this exception — they are pre-manufactured/standard-specification items, so the general 14-day withdrawal right applies to them in full.

5. Custom manufacturing requests (Print Partner)

Canceling a quote before payment is entirely free. Cancellation/refund requests after payment are assessed based on whether production has started — see the Print Partner Terms. If unresolved, the in-app dispute process applies.

6. Memberships

You can cancel a membership at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Amounts already paid are not partially refunded. See Membership Terms.

7. How to request a refund

Email support@buya3dprint.com with your order number. Response time is typically a few business days.

8. If unresolved

If your request is denied or unresolved, you may use the dispute-resolution avenues described in the Terms of Service's "Dispute resolution" section, or (for EU-resident consumers) the EU's ODR platform.
